Littérature en langue étrangère

Les élèves qui souhaitent améliorer leur anglais trouveront au CDI une sélection d'ouvrages anglo-saxons en version originale.
Entre autres :

Charly and the chocolate factory de Roald Dahl

Willy Wonka's famous chocolate factory is opening at last !
But only five lucky children will be allowed inside. And the winners are : Augustus Gloop, an enormously fat boy whose hobby is eating ; Veruca Salt, a spoiled-rotten brat whose parents are wrapped around her little finger ; Violet Beauregarde, a dim-witted gum-chewer with the fatest jaws around ; Mike Teavee, a toy pistol-toting gangster-in-training who is obsessed with television ; and Charlie Bucket, our Hero, a boy who is honest and kind, brave and true, and good and ready for the wildest time of his life !

The Jungle Book de Rudyard Kipling

The Jungle Book comprises a series of stories about Mowgli, a boy raised in the jungle by a family of wolves after a tiger has attacked and driven off his parents. Threatened throughout much of his young life by the dreaded tiger Shere Khan, Mowgli is protected by his adoptive family and learns the lore of the jungle from Baloo, a sleepy brown bear, and Bagheera, the black panther.

The Red Pony de John Steinbeck

Jody Tiflin lives on his father's California ranch. He is thrilled when his father gives him a red pony and promises him the colt of a bay mare. Yet both these gifts bring tragedy as well as joy to Jody's life. As he begins to learn the harsh lessons of life and death, Jody starts to understand what growing up and becoming an adult really means.

Mais aussi : The curious incident of the dog in the night-time ; Peter Pan ; The Wonderful wizard of Oz... Venez découvrir toute la sélection au CDI.
